hey whats up... works "fun"
today at work a new guy just basically walked out on us in the middle of his shift... he was sceduled to work to close (which is normally around 1:30 a.m. or later) he left at around 8:30 p.m. We dont know why.... our manager was just like hey where's *his name* (i dont even know his name), everyone was like i dont know... i was on post-rush taking out the trash and dawn (our big manager person, 2nd underneath steve) ask me if i seen him out side... i told her no of course cus i didnt see him.. so the next 2 hours we are having fun trying to run the store with 4 people... it can be done late night when the dinning rooms closed but if its not closed we need at lest 5 people to run fairly smoothly. and they are still doing it right now.(have fun dawn, lee, and debie? (i cant remember if that was her name))but they should be some what fine now... some other guy that works at a different wendy's came in to help as i was leaving, cus he was called in to help, and my brother went back up there to help out cus he used to work there..... though another thing, when the guy left (he was on grill at the moment, and i took over that position) the grill looked disgusting.... carbon build up over the whole grill... the thing was black. and dried blood every where at that station. it took me about 30 minutes to make it look good. of course it always looks good when i run grill... thats my best position.( sandwiches are my fav, but grill is my best) i made that grill look silver again... it was a scary site
and yay im getting my raise in a couple of weeks(lest i should be...better be.)( my friend was supposed to get his raise at the beginning of november but he said he still hasnt got it yet)

i worked 1.30 to 9.30 today, and by the time it got late it was only me, philip (different one from you, obviously), and james on registers. then philip and james both left at 9.00, and i was all alone. we were just about dead, but i think someone must not have shown up, because i left a half hour after they did and no one else had come in. cory (he's an office worker person... he was promoted from cashier shortly after i was hired) stopped whatever he was doing and opened up about five minutes before i left. and our front office became a gingerbread house today! but yeah, this ais a really long comment, so i'll stop before it becomes my own mini-blog.
it's a little sad taht you don't know the names of half the people you work with. but, i guess i can't really say too much cuz u prolly don't work with half of them half the time, but it's still weird.
